Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026 · Version 2026-10-24d
Who these terms are with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Dispatch Runner LLC ("Dispatch Runner", "we", "us"), a Michigan limited liability company. They cover the Dispatch Runner app at dispatchrunnerapp.com and everything in it: the business phone, carriers, brokers, loads, email and support.
"You" means the person who signs up and the dispatch company they sign up for. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you're allowed to agree for it. Everyone you add to your account (dispatchers, assistants, viewers) must follow these Terms too, and you're responsible for what they do in it.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give us true information, including a working email.
- Keep your password private. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else got into your account.
- Dispatch Runner is for business use by dispatchers and dispatch companies that work with US carriers, wherever in the world you work from.
Free trial
- New accounts get a 3-day free trial. A card is required to start it. Nothing is charged today.
- The 3 days start when your card goes on. On day 3 we email you a reminder.
- If you don't cancel before day 4, your plan starts and your card is charged the plan price.
- During the trial the phone has limits: 1 local number, calls to the US and Canada only, 100 outgoing minutes, and no text messages.
- One free trial per company. We may end a trial early if it's being misused.
Plans, payment and renewal
- Plans are billed monthly in US dollars, in advance, to the card on file. Prices are shown in the app and on our website. Taxes may be added where the law requires.
- Your plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. By adding your card you allow us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge it each month.
- Extra phone lines and add-ons are charged as shown when you add them.
- If a payment fails, we'll tell you and try again. If it still can't be collected, your account locks (see "When an account closes").
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after that.
Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel anytime in Settings (Billing), or by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next charge. Your account keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for.
- No refunds for partial months. If you cancel partway through a month, you won't be charged again, but the current month isn't refunded.
- If we charged you by mistake, tell us within 60 days and we'll fix it.
When an account closes
- If the trial ends without a paid plan, or a payment can't be collected, the account locks: you can still sign in, pay, get help and ask us for a copy of your data, but nothing else works.
- Phone numbers on a locked account are held for 7 days. If the account isn't paid within those 7 days, the numbers are released back to the phone company and may go to someone else. We can't always get a released number back.
- After an account is closed we keep its data for 90 days so you can come back or get a copy, then delete it (see the Privacy Policy).
The business phone
- Phone numbers and calls are provided through our phone company partner, Telnyx. The number is assigned to your account for as long as your account is active and paid. You don't own it. If you want to move a number to another provider, ask us and we'll help where the phone company allows it.
- No 911 or emergency calls. Dispatch Runner's phone is an internet (VoIP) business phone and is not a replacement for a regular phone. Emergency calls may not work, may not reach the right emergency center, and may not send your location. It also stops working if your internet or power is down. Always keep another way to call emergency services.
- Recording calls is your responsibility. If you turn on call recording, you must tell the other person and get their consent where the law requires it. Some US states (for example California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Washington) require everyone on the call to agree.
- Call quality depends on your internet connection and headset. We can't promise every call connects.
Text messages
- Only text people who have agreed to hear from you by text, such as the brokers, carriers and drivers you work with. Never text a list you bought or numbers you found.
- Every person you text must be able to stop: when someone replies STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT), Dispatch Runner stops texting them from that number, and HELP gets them a reply saying who you are and how to reach you. Don't try to get around an opt-out.
- US phone companies require business texting to be registered (called 10DLC). We register Dispatch Runner's texting, and texts may be blocked or delayed by the phone companies at any time. Message and data rates may apply for the people you text.
- Texting isn't included in the free trial.
Gmail and email
- If you connect a Gmail or other email account, you allow Dispatch Runner to read, sort and send email from that account for you, so your broker emails show up next to your loads.
- You can disconnect it anytime in Settings. When you do, we stop reading it.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. See the Privacy Policy for details.
AI features
- Some features use AI that runs on our own server, for example reading a rate confirmation into a load, or suggesting an answer to a support question. Your data is not sent to an outside AI company for these features.
- AI can get things wrong. Check every load the AI fills in before you save it. Support answers the AI suggests are checked by a person before they're sent to you, and questions about money are always answered by a person.
What you may not do
You may not use Dispatch Runner to:
- send spam, make robocalls or auto-dialed calls, or send texts or calls without the consent the law requires (including the US TCPA and CAN-SPAM rules);
- commit or help with fraud, including double brokering, identity or MC theft, fake rate confirmations, or pretending to be a carrier, broker or person you're not;
- harass, threaten or mislead anyone;
- break the law where you or the person you're contacting is, including US trucking, export and sanctions rules;
- break into, overload or copy the app, resell it, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload files you don't have the right to share, or anything harmful like viruses.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and if the law requires it we may report it.
Your data
- Your carriers, brokers, loads, files, emails and call records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them to run Dispatch Runner for you, and for the internal uses below.
- Load, carrier and broker information we keep for our own use. When you add a load or a rate confirmation, or add a carrier or a broker, you also give us a lasting, royalty-free permission to keep a copy of the business details in it – such as lanes (pickup and delivery city, state and ZIP), dates, equipment, type of freight, weight, miles, rates and extra charges, carrier company details (name, MC/DOT number, addresses, phone numbers, business email, equipment and fleet size, insurance company, coverage amounts and expiration, and factoring company), and broker company details (name, MC/DOT number, addresses, phone numbers and the broker's contact people) – in Dispatch Runner's own records, including after your account closes. We use it only inside Dispatch Runner: to understand lanes and rates, improve features such as rate checks and broker warnings, and keep carrier and broker directories. We never sell it. If we ever show market information to other customers, it will be combined and anonymous, so no customer, carrier or single load can be identified.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data anytime, and ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
- You're responsible for having the right to put other people's information (drivers, carriers, brokers) into Dispatch Runner.
If you work outside the US
Many of our customers work from Pakistan and other countries. Dispatch Runner is run from the United States, and your data is stored in the United States. You're responsible for following the laws of the country you work from. Prices are in US dollars; your bank may charge currency or foreign-transaction fees.
Changes, uptime and support
- We work to keep Dispatch Runner running, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or problems outside our control. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something important to your plan, we'll tell you first.
- Help is in the app (Help), or by email at [email protected].
Limits of our responsibility
- Dispatch Runner is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that it fits a particular purpose.
- Dispatch Runner is a tool. We are not a broker, carrier or freight forwarder, we're not part of your deals, and we're not responsible for loads, payments between you and brokers or carriers, broker or carrier fraud, or the choices you make with the information the app shows (including broker warnings and FMCSA lookups, which can be out of date).
- To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost profits, lost loads, lost data or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it.
- You agree to cover us for claims caused by how you or your team used Dispatch Runner, including calls, texts and recordings you made.
The law that applies
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state and federal courts located in Michigan, and you and we agree to those courts. Before going to court, please email us at [email protected] so we can try to fix it first.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we'll email the account owner and show it in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using Dispatch Runner after that means you accept the new Terms.
